Lovely quaint restaurant with fantastic service and delicious food. I can’t understate how nice Halcyon Nest is!!! The menu is carefully thought out and delivered exceptionally. Kudos to the owners who are also the chefs! They have made a gluten free (except banh mi) and dairy free menu so there is something for everyone. The sauces are made from scratch and the flavour profiles show it! We will be coming back regularly 😊

We started with 3 delicious entrees . Spring rolls were tasty and crunchy, the sticky pork bao buns were a flavour bomb and the satay sticks had one of the best sauces we have ever tried . We also had the shaking beef and the egg noodle soup which were also very tasty. The owner was very attentive and made us feel welcome and offered his own blend of tea to compliment the meal. Will definitely be going back.

Came for a stroll in erindale for dinner. Found this little gem. Great food with a homely atmosphere of a small asian diner. The portions were perfect and the amount meat in the pho was great. We tried a range of food all of which was delicious and priced so conservatively. A fantastic meal and wholesome experience.

We stumbled on this spot and was genuinely impressed. The beef pho had a rich, aromatic broth that tasted like it had been simmered for hours—deep, comforting, and full of flavor. The beef was tender, and the fresh herbs added a bright finish.
The grilled skewer was just as good—perfectly cooked and served with an incredible dipping sauce that was tangy, bold, and totally addictive.
Highly recommend. This place is a hidden gem that deserves more love.

We only recently discovered this amazing new Vietnamese restaurant in erindale and absolutely loved it. Every dish is home cooked and made from scratch, down to the sauces and marinades. The prices were incredibly reasonable with a huge banh mi costing 11$, coming with generous amount of crispy pork, self pickled vegetables and home made pate. The service was incredible as the owner gave us backgrounds on all the dishes and how he first started up Halcyon Nest. Apart from the meal itself, we also loved the complementary herbal tea. Next time, we will definitely come back with the whole family.
