Came for a stroll in erindale for dinner. Found this little gem. Great food with a homely atmosphere of a small asian diner. The portions were perfect and the amount meat in the pho was great. We tried a range of food all of which was delicious and priced so conservatively. A fantastic meal and wholesome experience.

We stumbled on this spot and was genuinely impressed. The beef pho had a rich, aromatic broth that tasted like it had been simmered for hours—deep, comforting, and full of flavor. The beef was tender, and the fresh herbs added a bright finish. The grilled skewer was just as good—perfectly cooked and served with an incredible dipping sauce that was tangy, bold, and totally addictive. Highly recommend. This place is a hidden gem that deserves more love.

We only recently discovered this amazing new Vietnamese restaurant in erindale and absolutely loved it. Every dish is home cooked and made from scratch, down to the sauces and marinades. The prices were incredibly reasonable with a huge banh mi costing 11$, coming with generous amount of crispy pork, self pickled vegetables and home made pate. The service was incredible as the owner gave us backgrounds on all the dishes and how he first started up Halcyon Nest. Apart from the meal itself, we also loved the complementary herbal tea. Next time, we will definitely come back with the whole family.

Amazing chicken pho. Very fresh and authentic. Long, the owner was really welcoming and friendly, and their homemade berry tea was very nice. 10/10 recommend this place.

Popped in for a quick Bahn Mi which did not dissappoint. We ordered the Crispy pork belly and Lemon grass beef. Both were delicious, lots of protein, fresh and tasty salad and herbs and the perfect amount of Pate, Chilli and Mayo. The bun was perfect too, the exact right amount of crunch but still soft and fresh. We got chatting to Long the owner who served us a delicious vietnamese iced tea, he told us all about the vegetables and fresh herbs that him and his wife grow in there backyard for the restaurant. Honestly it was so tasty and fresh. This place is a level up from any other Bahn Mi that ive tried in Canberra, and ive tested a lot. A must try for when you're in and around Erindale. I can't wait to try other things on the menu.
